I’ve mentioned this before, but when it comes to summer maternity style, maxi dresses are my saving grace! They are just so easy to throw on and go but look infinitely more put together than stretchy shorts or leggings and a tee, which is probably what I’d prefer to wear daily! ? I have a whole collection of simple options that can be mixed and re-worn countless ways. Buuut for dressier occasions, I love something bold like this floral maxi dress!
This maxi is non-maternity and very lightweight, which makes it perfect for summer. I recently wore it while we were in Annapolis. It was the perfect option for a little dockside happy hour at the Annapolis Maritime Museum! (Don’t worry, I’m sipping grapefruit La Croix out of that wine glass! ?) It’s a bit difficult to tell in the photos but the halter neckline has the sweetest little ruffle detail!
As far as sizing goes, fit is very generous. I typically size up one size to a large in Shein, and I stayed with that normal size even being pregnant. I still have plenty of room to grow and could see this easily working into my ninth month! If you aren’t expecting I’d recommend sizing down (or staying with your true US size).
And if you want more tips for finding non-maternity maxi dresses for pregnancy, be sure to check out this post! I share all my tips for spotting which ones work and which ones don’t when sporting a bump!

When my daughter was pregnant, she loved to wear maxi dresses too because they covered up her swollen legs and feet. You look so gorgeous! I love maxi dresses.
