January Loft Try On

Loft continues to be one of your top requests when it comes to try ons. And I gotta tell ya: I don’t hate it! Loft has become one of my favorites too because of their cute, affordable finds. And you really can’t be their sales! For today’s January Loft try on get ready for lots of winter-to-spring finds, heart prints and embellishments (YESSSS!), and polka dots. I’m here for it, y’all. And hopefully you are too! Let’s gooooo!

January Loft Try On

For sizing reference, I am 5’7.5″, and a size 29/8/M. I will list exactly what size I am wearing beneath each photo along with any sizing recommendations I may have!

Wrap Top

I love a wrap top. They are so figure-flattering, a wardrobe classic, and they are breastfeeding-friendly! This one is a true wrap top, which is great for making adjustments to the style as you’d like. You can easily make it more low cut or cover up more by tightening the waist tie. The cut with the peplum bottom also does a great job of emphasizing the waist while floating over the tummy area. I’m in a medium.

Heart Sweatshirt

Embellished sweatshirts are my jam right now. I love that you get all the comfort of a sweatshirt but they can be dressed up a bit more. And how ridiculously cute is that little yellow heart?! This one is by Lou & Grey, so you know it’s soft. It also runs a little oversized. I’m in the small and like the fit! It’s a medium weight but not too thick to tuck like I did if you’d like!

Heart Print Sweater

I have seen this sweater all over Instagram. After trying it on, I see why. It is so stinkin’ cute in person. The weight is surprisingly heavier than it appears but is still tuck-able. It has a mock neck and is a longer length although it’s not quite tunic length. You could probably size up one to get it to tunic length if that’s what you’re looking for. Otherwise, stay true to size. For those of you who are sensitive, it does have a very slight itch.

Floral Sweater

I thought this one looked a little more like a sweatshirt online but it is actually a very fine-knit sweater. The weight is pretty light but would work really well for layering. The floral print is muted but beautiful. The cut is more of a classic cut as well. It’s still has some room but isn’t oversized. The fit makes it a perfect work to weekend piece!Affordable style blogger Lauren Dix shares a January Loft try on with over ten winter outfits!

Tunic Sweater

After putting this one on, there was no question. It was coming home with me. It has a beautiful easy drape and is long enough for leggings. If you have enough grey in your life, it also comes in a vibrant purple shade! Size down one. I’m in a small. (I also wore it with leggings further down if you’d like to check that out!)

Striped Wrap

Wraps are another one of those pieces that’s a must in my wardrobe. They make any outfit look chic. Throw one over a dress, a sweater, a tee, a button down… There are so many options. And I love the neutral color combination of this one. It’s also very soft like a fleece-y material. It’s great for nursing and for a bump too! The only thing I didn’t love was that it’s open on the side without a button or side closure. Size down. I’m in the XS/S.

Polka Dot Denim Jacket

Y’ALL. GIVE ME THE POLKA DOTS. How sweet is this subtle print?! From a few steps back the polka dots are not visible at all. But once you step closer you can see them. I feel in love with this jacket, and I’m ordering it (in full honesty– when it goes on sale ?). Fit is true to size. I’m wearing the medium! (Also– here is that tunic again! LOVE!)

Love Sweatshirt + Polka Dot Jeans

Of course I found another embellished sweatshirt. This one has “love” written on it in a rope-y looking embroidery. Fit is also oversized with this one. I’m in the small.

And the jeans. THE JEANS. ?They are a faded, washed black with a subtle polka dot print. Like the denim jacket, the print isn’t bold, which makes them so wearable! They are a mid-rise (maybe around 1.5 inches below my belly button). Also, they are super-stretchy and comfy. I’m wearing the size 28/6 and recommend sizing down one.

Stripe Top

If you prefer collarless tops that you can dress up, this is a great option! The color is a faded, washed grey/black, and I love the contrasting stripe variation! At the neckline and sleeves, you can see how they alternate. This top is perfect for work to weekend and has functioning buttons for breastfeeding! ??Fit is TTS.

Pointelle Sweater

This peachy-pink with the denim is one of my favorite color combinations! This sweater does have an open knit design. Although you can’t truly see anything through it, you might want to layer with a tank. Weight is more of a medium-weight and the cut is more classic. I’m in a medium. It also comes in the color “sand.”

Heart Print Dress

How darling is this print?! It’s just like the heart print sweater but with a white background. The scattered hearts almost read like polka dots from farther away. Fit is very relaxed in this dress. I added the polka dot jacket for structure but I would recommend sizing down one!

I love it styled casually like this for the weekend, but it’s also a work-appropriate dress! Trade the denim jacket for a blazer or cardigan to make it dressier! It would also be so cute with pumps or over the knee boots.

Polka Dot Jumpsuit

Loft, you got me again with another jumpsuit!! This one is tank style but can easily be layered up to work for winter into spring. The back is smocked, which is prevents gaping with the functioning button front. Yay for another breastfeeding-friendly piece! The legs are wide and cropped. For the weekend, I’d style it just like this. Or you could wear it with a cardigan and booties! (See my jumpsuit styling post here for all the ideas!)
