Y’all have been loving the Amazon finds lately, and I don’t blame you! I shop there for just about everything, so it’s been fun to discover more fashion finds! One of the top requests from you was an Amazon swimsuit try on. And even though I wasn’t feeling my most confident to try on a bunch of bathing suits, I put ’em on anyways. Warmer days are coming (as I type this a snow storm is headed our way ?), and since we have another Great Wolf Lodge stay coming up I knew I needed some new suits!
Amazon Swimsuit Try On Session
What I love about the Amazon suits I found is how affordable they are! And I’ve been very impressed with the quality too! One of my favorite suits from last year is still in like-new condition! (If you curious, I wore it both with a bump and postpartum. And I still love it!)
Every suit I ordered was under $30 with the exception of one, which was $34! I typically order larges in swimsuits, and so that is what I ordered in nearly all of them. But if you have any question about what size I’m wearing, I list it beneath each photo along with any sizing recommendations!
For reference, I am 5’7″ and verrry short-waisted. I typically wear a size 8/29/M in clothing or a large in swimsuits.
This suit has so many things I love. Stripes and lace? Yes, please. If stripes aren’t your thing, it also comes in four solids and a floral print! I went with a large and like the fit. It has decent booty coverage. It’s not a cheeky cut, but I wouldn’t call it full coverage either. It’s somewhere in between, but it’s not a cut that I would be uncomfortable wearing! Also the straps are adjustable!
I love the ruffles on this one! It’s my favorite detail about this suit! It also comes in four other colors, including the most sunshine-y yellow color that I kind of wish I had ordered instead! Coverage is about the same as the first. It’s not quite full coverage but not showing too much booty. The only thing I didn’t love was how wide the v-neck was. For a mom who has a grabby little baby, I didn’t feel comfortable in it! Buuut if you don’t have kids or have older kids, that is probably not a concern. ?I’m in a large and fit is TTS. (Scroll down to the second photo for a more accurate color! I’m in the wine red.)
This suit is so flattering on! I love it! I also really like that it’s covered up but shows just a touch of skin with the mesh cut out at the neckline and on the back over the shoulders! I ordered this one in a large, but it runs a little big. I would definitely prefer a medium! It also comes in nine other colors!
Swimsuit (large – I’d prefer a medium)
Another very flattering option. I love how the stripes accent the waist! In between the black stripes is see-through but it didn’t feel too revealing to me at all! I also really like the criss-cross front neckline! It turns to vertical straps in the back. The sizing description indicated in ran large, so I ended up ordering an XL. I definitely would have been better with my true size since it was too big, especially in the bust area! It comes in six other colors and it has full booty coverage!
Suit (XL, but I’d prefer a large)
This suit comes in so many options — 14 other color ways! Some are printed and some are solid! The back has two ties. One is a halter top tie and one is around the back, making it super-adjustable. My only complaint was that the one side of the stripe top seemed to be rolling open a bit if that makes sense. It wasn’t laying flat against my body. I figured after washing or wearing a few times that would probably get worse! It could have been a slight defect with the one I received, but if you like the look of this suit scroll down to the next one. It’s the same style and I liked it better!
This suit is exactly the same style as the stripe top one (but a different brand)! It also has two ties. One is a halter at the neck and the other around the back. All-around I thought the quality of this one was so much better than the last. It comes in seven other colors (all solids)! This was one of my top two of the entire try-on!
Y’all know my love for stripes runs deep, and I could not pass up the cute retro vibe of this one piece!! It has a lace up detail in the back with a tie, making the straps adjustable. For nursing moms this is a fantastic option because of the crossover front! The cut of the leg is a little higher with this one, but I actually think it’s pretty flattering! The booty coverage is between full coverage and cheeky.
I almost didn’t order this one because I didn’t think I’d like it on me. I could not have been more wrong. This is the other one in my top two favorites! The v-neck is so flattering and I love the tiny cut out stripe detail at the waist. It also has a tiny ruffle under the bust line. The ruffle also goes around the back– so cute! The only downside is that the straps are not adjustable! The large fit perfectly on me, but if you have a longer torso, I’d recommend sizing up!
Another SUPER FLATTERING option! I owned a maternity suit that was pretty much identical ?, so naturally I love this one! The ruching across the belly is so flattering! I also love the flirty ruffled one shoulder! I ordered a 10, but it does run small, so I would prefer a 12! Definitely size up! It comes in nine other color options as well. I am in the red. Even though it looks more burgundy online, it is a true red in person!
Suit (10, but I’d prefer a 12)
Which suits should I keep?!
