So for today’s style session I’m breaking down a few of my favorite combinations with these six overalls outfits for winter! Six Overalls Outfits for Winter
When it comes to winter overalls outfits, it’s all about the layers! I love wearing a lighter layer tucked in with structured jackets like a utility jacket or moto jacket or even a slim-fitting cardigan! But don’t be afraid to try tucking in heavier layers too! Sweaters, when tucked in, can also work well with overalls! But we’ll get into all my specific tips when we discuss each individual overall outfit!
Cardigan Overalls Outfit
The simplest outfits are my favorite when it comes to overalls! So for this outfit, I layered a white henley with a cozy cardigan! Any long or short sleeve tee would be perfect here, but you could also go with a lightweight turtleneck if you want to add some warmth! For the cardigan, I went with a slimmer fit, but chunkier cardigans can work well too! Since my overalls are on the slimmer side, they work well with both heavier weight options and lighter ones! Utility Jacket Overalls Outfit
Here’s another super-simple combination! But I decided to make it a little more fun with some leopard print! Any basic tee or graphic tee would be cute here, but I love the small pop of leopard. It would be equally as cute with stripes or polka dots!
For my jacket, I opted for a utility jacket! I love the structure it offers! There are plenty of other options that would work well here too! A blazer would be a fun way to mix it up. A cozy sherpa jacket would keep it more on the casual side!

Leather Jacket Overalls Outfit
One thing I love to do when creating overalls outfits is to mix in more feminine pieces! Lace tops, ones with ruffles, or even a girly print pair nicely! They offer a nice contrast against the overalls! This top is lighter weight with eyelet and a ruffle sleeve!
But to add some warmth, I also threw on my cognac moto jacket! It’s one of my go-to layering pieces! Again, it offers a night contrast between the more feminine top!

Plaid and Overalls Outfit
I told y’all I like simple, right?! The base of this outfit is just a simple long sleeve white tee! But a third piece to complete an outfit always makes a difference! So, for this look, I added a plaid button down. You can wear it open over the over the tee and overalls for a lightweight jacket layer. But I also love it tied around the waist! The pop of color and plaid is such a fun addition!

Blouse Overalls Outfit
This blouse outfit is another example of a more feminine top option with the overalls! I went with a plaid balloon sleeve top since that what I have in my closet! But I think it’d be so adorable with a floral print version! Solids work too but I love the personality a print adds! For the shoes, I went with my go-to pointed toe flats! But this would be a great option to pair with classic pumps for a dressier option!

Sweater Overalls Outfit
You might remember this look from my leopard sweater outfits! I tried these two together on a whim and ended up loving the look! When picking a sweater make sure it’s not overly oversized! With slim-fitting overalls, you’ll want to still be able to tuck it! The print also keeps it fun, but I’d love this outfit paired with a classic cream sweater too!
