Where have machine washable rugs been all my life?! I know those of you with kids and pets are right there with me. Spills and accidents are just a part of my daily life, and having rugs that I can throw in my washing machine are a game-changer! And now you can find them at one our favorites: Walmart!
I partnered with Walmart Home this month to try out their new line of washable rugs, Everwash, and y’all I am in LOVE! We ordered a runner for our kitchen, and I was amazed at how its addition made the space so much cozier. It also adds more personality and color to a space that I simply struggle with decorating! Anyone else?!

The rug we selected is the Callaghan Esther Medallion Rug in the Rust/Blue/Ivory color way. The runner size (1’11″x7’2″) is the perfect fit for our 8 foot island! I absolutely love how it picks up the blue from our kitchen island cabinets. The rust adds warmth and contrast! It’s perfection.
One recommendation I have to mention is the addition of a rug pad! Especially for a high traffic area like the kitchen, you don’t want your rug to slide. I’m ordering this one, but you could also try nonslip corners to keep it in place.
