Spring Work Outfits

One of the top requests I consistently get on Instagram is to share more work wear. Since it’s been a few years since I worked a corporate job, I often shy away from sharing outfits for the office. But today, we’re ditching the denim (well, mostly) for spring work outfits! Get ready for a week’s worth of work outfits for spring, including, yes, one casual Friday outfit!

Spring Work Outfits

When I worked a corporate job, I relied heavily on my collection of pencil skirts, blouses and heels. But with the rise of wide leg pants and trousers, I know my work wardrobe would be much different these days! I’ll be sharing great work pants, a few work-appropriate dresses, and tops to round out your spring work outfits!

Trouser Pants Work Outfit

These trouser pants were a find from my latest spring Madewell try on. I absolutely adore them!! They hit high rise, have minimal pleating, a flat-front with elastic back waistband, and wide legs. I need to size down one in these, but I couldn’t help throwing them on for a quick work outfit before I exchange! The color I’m wearing is a natural linen color. Although you could also pair these with a floral blouse for a more feminine look, I opted for my favorite drapey button-front top. The belt helps cinch the look together and accentuate the waist.

Floral Maxi Dress Work Outfit

To add some springtime vibes, a floral dress is another great option. I love that this one is full-coverage with a higher neckline, sleeve, and maxi skirt. But the print and cut still keep it flirty and fun. If necessary, you could even add a blazer on top and swap for a closed toe shoe.

Straight Leg Pants Outfit for Work

Although slightly more casual than the pleated wide leg pants, these make another great option for a business casual work environment. If you wanted to dress it up a bit more, I’d swap for a button down or a dressy blouse. But they look equally as chic with a sweater tee (or long sleeve sweater!). Floral Mini Dress Outfit

This dress is another great work-appropriate option. With long sleeves, and a knee-length skirt, it would work perfectly in a variety of work environments. This is another one that would also pair nicely with a black blazer.

Casual Friday Work Outfit

Does your office have casual Fridays? One of mine did but my last corporate job did not. It was one thing I legit missed most. Hey, maybe that was a sign that I was in the wrong field. 😂 For casual days, you just can’t go wrong with a button down. I added a heeled sandal, but a pump would work fine here too! Add a slim-cut cardigan or blazer for even more structure.
