As if planning for Disney World trip isn’t a big enough undertaking, I couldn’t help myself but sucked into all of the cute Disney outfits too. I spent entirely too much time not only finding cute Disney-themed clothing for my entire family, but also making sure that it truly matched my style. Seem a little extra? It’s okay, I am. It also runs with the territory. Ahem, fashion blogging, y’all. 😂 And our adorable matching family outfits for Disney World were a fun part of our trip that I would never take back!
Matching Family Outfits for Disney World
When it came to putting together outfits I started with my kids. Finding cute kids Disney clothes is so easy these days! My go-to’s were Amazon, Hanna Andersson, H&M, Shop Disney (of course, right?!), and Gap kids. I also tried to stick with a color theme of red, black, and white, which helped narrow down selections and coordinate overall as a family.
But before we get into the outfits, here are a few items I want to call out. These top recommendations will be repeated over and over in our Disney outfits! For starters, this belt bag was a game-changer! I loved having my phone, backup portable charger, and credit card at my fingertips at all times. For the girls instead of traditional ears, I went with these Minnie clips that come in a multitude of options. They stayed in their hair and did not bother them at all! And lastly, as much as I love a good set of custom ears (I bought a pair for Animal Kingdom this year!), don’t knock Amazon options! They are so much more affordable. You’ll see the pair I wore the most were an Amazon find!
Magic Kingdom Outfits
We were lucky enough to spend two days at Magic Kingdom this trip, which I highly recommend (and go more into our Disney 6-day itinerary!)! So, for our first day, I went a little more cutesy with a dress. While I saw plenty of more frilly options being worn around the park, this relaxed-fitting babydoll dress was a great option for me. It coordinated with my girls red dresses (and our red bow Minnie ears!) while being light and comfortable. I also layered with these pair of bike shorts for a little extra coverage. Moms of little ones, I highly recommend packing bike shorts if you plan to wear dresses!

For our second MK day, it was a little chillier in the morning. I ended up wearing my Mickey sweatshirt front-tucked into black denim shorts (see a pic of my full outfit here!). The girls wore Minnie Mouse printed Hanna Andersson dresses, which is my favorite kids clothing brand! Although these exact ones are nearly sold out, I highly recommend checking back as they release new Disney collaborations often, including Mickey/Minnie prints as well as Disney Princesses. They also have options for boys!

Hollywood Studios Family Outfits
We had to do one day of matching shirts. Is it even a Disney vacation if you don’t?! 😂 What I loved about these tees in particular is that they were different from what I typically see. The girls and I wore bike shorts and sneakers to keep it extra comfy. This was definitely one of my most comfortable outfit days, especially because of these sneakers!

Animal Kingdom Outfits
Aaron called me basic for going with a safari theme for our Animal Kingdom day. But if you can’t be basic at Disney, where can you be?! The girls’ dresses are about a year old from Nordstrom but I loved this option I found. For my outfit, I paired a simple off white tank and olive shorts. Plus, these Minnie Mouse ears I bought were a statement-maker! I shared my other potential Animal Kingdom option in my Disney packing post! It was a toughie deciding between that matching set and this!

Epcot Family Outfits
For Epcot, I went a little more sporty. I traded ears for this Mickey hat, which came in handy on this dreary, rainy day at the park! This exercise dress was also a big win! If you happen to be traveling in the warmer months, I highly recommend it! When it got cooler in the evening, I layered with this denim jacket. For the girls, I ordered these Disney World-printed dresses from Amazon. They received a crazy amount of compliments on them. They are truly adorable, and would also make a great MK option!

Disney Resort Outfits
What is a Disney trip without some relaxation? For our pool day, I wore my current favorite one-piece swimsuit. (You can see my full Summersalt swimsuit try on here. Tons of mom-friendly winners!!) The girls wore Target suits, but I ordered them these adorable matching cover-ups! It just happened that we coordinated perfectly!
