It’s officially dress season! Along with warmer weather being a great reason to break out all the dresses, spring and summer bring so many events. Between graduations, showers, weddings, and outdoor get-togethers, it’s always a good idea to have a few on hand! So, I went into LOFT recently to put together a few spring Loft outfits, including plenty of dresses and a few fun tops too!
Spring LOFT Outfits
For reference, I’m 5’7 1/2″ with a short torso and very long legs! I typically wear a 28/29 in jeans or a size 6/8. My bra size is a 36C, and I typically wear a size medium (or 8) top.
If you ever have any question about what size I’m wearing, check the links below each image! I list any recommendations I have for sizing up or down for quick reference. (TTS= true to size!) For full details, I’ll be chatting all about quality, style, and fit in the paragraphs above each photo. Let’s go!
I’m a sucker for eyelet, and this dress was one of the first things I went for in-store. It has a high neckline with ruffle detail, light pleating around the collar, and a tiered skirt. It also comes in the most beautiful bright coral color as well as black! There are pockets and the dress is fully lined. Fit is very swingy and relaxed. I’m in a medium.
Oooh, this dress is so stinkin’ cute in person! It’s hard to tell through the photo, but there are embroidered dots throughout the dress in pale pink. The bodice is smocked, and the skirt is a relaxed a-line. Of course I also love the ruffle flutter strap. I sized down to a size small and like the fit!
My mom and I were both trying on and came out in the same dress. It’s equally as adorable on her 5’4″ frame!
Another absolute fav!! I just tend to love dresses in this cut. They’re so comfortable! Like the previous one, the bodice is smocked and the skirt is a flowy a-line. This one has puff elasticized sleeves, pockets, and a midi length. Beneath the beautiful floral print, is a faint stripe in the fabric. It’s truly a stunner in-person! I’m in a small.
This is another dress that is just so darling in person! The details make this mini dress! The fabric is a white eyelet with mini black floral print! The waistband is fixed with a crossover detail at the bust. I tried on an 8, and found it to fit very oversized. I would have liked to try both a 6 and an 4 tbh. So, remember to size down 1-2, especially if you’re smaller up top!
Look at that eyelet cut-out!! It’s true love, y’all. 😂 It also comes in white and a very pale yellow, but of course I grabbed the black. Loft calls this a “sweatshirt tee,” which I take issue with. It’s not at all sweatshirt weight or material! It’s more of a slightly thicker, more structure tee. But you can see it still drapes like a regular t-shirt. I sized down to a small, and there is still plenty of room!
Find me a cuter spring top… I’ll wait. This one has a smocked neckline with flutter sleeve and all-over eyelet detail. It’s fully-lined and has a swingy fit. I sized down one to a small and like the fit! It also comes in black and white. What I love about this top is that it’s slightly dressier. Yes, you can wear it with shorts, but you could also pair wear it to work, or dress it up for a night out with jeans, heels, and a fun earring.
More eyelet? YUP. It’s the theme of these spring LOFT outfits, and I love it. This top has a swquare neckline, slight puff sleeve, and more fitted cut. I sized down to a small and like the fit. It also comes in a white with black embroidery option. I love it paired with my black shorts but would also dress it up more with white denim!
