We’re currently sailing through Europe on a two-week cruise with our two young children, and let me tell you, packing smart has made all the difference.

3. Cruise-Approved Power Strip Extension Cord

Charge multiple devices simultaneously with this cruise-approved power strip. A lifesaver for families with numerous gadgets. We honestly would currently be lost without it!

4. Universal Travel Adapter

Similar to the above but equally as important, ensure your devices stay charged while traveling internationally with this universal travel adapter. It doesn’t matter where we are, we can still use this device which is major if you’re cruising throughout Europe like us.

5. Magnetic Hooks

Don’t let your cabin become a cluttered mess. These magnetic hooks are your best friend when it comes to maximizing space. Hang your bags, hats, even cruise lanyards—anything that would otherwise take up precious room on the counter. They’re a total game changer, and trust me, you’ll wonder how you ever cruised without them. Plus, they’re strong enough to hold whatever you throw at them!

6. Wrinkle Release Spray

Irons and steamers? Not allowed. And honestly, who wants to deal with all that anyway? This wrinkle release spray is the low-effort, high-reward hero of my suitcase. A few spritzes, a little smoothing with your hands, and voilà, your outfit looks way less “stuffed in a suitcase” and way more “ready for dinner on the deck.” Total lifesaver when you’ve got zero time and two kids pulling you in opposite directions.

7. Travel Mirror

Say goodbye to the daily mirror battle. This travel mirror folds flat, lights up, and lets you do your makeup without hogging the bathroom. Whether your kids are splashing in the tub or your partner’s brushing their teeth, you’re good to glam from anywhere in the cabin.

8. Packing Cubes

I used to roll my eyes at packing cubes… until I traveled with two kids. Now I’m a full-on convert. 9. Motion Sensor Night Light

One kid’s asleep, the other needs water, and somehow you’ve kicked your shin on the corner again. This is the only item on the list I really wish I had of brought with me as opposed to sharing what I packed. These little night lights pop on with motion, so you can move around without flipping on the overheads and waking the whole cabin. Simple but brilliant and now I realize how needed they actually are!

10. Waterproof Phone Case

Between beach stops, splash pads, and pool time, this waterproof case gives me peace of mind. I can snap photos of the kids in the waves without stressing about a dropped phone = ruined vacation. Total no-brainer for any family cruise.
