First off, let’s talk wide leg jeans! This pair from Levi’s has been my go-to for a year and the one’s you’ll see styled here. They have the perfect high rise, hold-you-in fit, and of course have the most flattering back pockets! They’re one of those pairs of jeans I immediately grab when I need a confidence boost!
If you’re anti-rigid denim (denim without stretch), I won’t leave you hanging! I just recently grabbed this pair from Old Navy and was shook at how similar they look to my fav Levi’s! (Full review on my Instagram here!) The style is nearly identical, but ON’s pair has comfort stretch that moves with you a bit more. You truly can’t go wrong with either pair!
Cool Mom Wide Leg Jeans Outfits
Don’t be afraid of a full denim-on-denim look. What I love about this outfit is that it is beyond simple. The denim washes don’t need to match– in fact it looks better with a slight contrast! I like to break the look up with a belt.
Want more of a feminine take? Tuck in a boho blouse and pair with a low heeled boot! This top is one of my recent Amazon favs. It looks so much like Free People but is super-affordable!
Another double-the-denim look! If a denim top and jeans is a little much for you, dip your toes into the trend by breaking up the denim with your favorite tee. I am wearing my favorite oversized denim jacket, but you could also try an open chambray to achieve a similar look.
For my classic moms, a great way to amp up your jeans and a tee outfit is by adding a sweater! If the thought of holding onto a sweater seems like too much, cuff the ends of the sleeves together to go hands-free!
You can’t go wrong with wide leg jeans paired with a cardigan! This short sleeve cardi is another recent wardrobe addition that I can’t get enough of. I just recently reordered it in two more colors (blue and gray)! It just has the perfect drapey relaxed fit.
This look was the most of a stretch for me because I shy away from doubling down on the oversized items. What makes it work for this sweater is that while it’s oversized, it has side notches, giving it movement and less of a boxy fit!
