Mother-Daughter Pumpkin Patch Style

Going to the pumpkin patch is one of my favorite yearly traditions. I’ve always enjoyed going. Even before we had kids I’d drag Aaron with me, but now that we have Layla it’s even more fun. This is the first year that she really knew what was going on, and I loved experiencing it through her eyes.

She decided that she was going to look for a little white pumpkin in the fields and was so excited when she came across the perfect one. There was no taking it from her after she picked it!

We both went with plaid looks because nothing says Fall like plaid, right?! I had just been waiting for an excuse to break out this new lace-up top. It’s a nice heavy weight plaid, making it a great pick for cool weather. And it’s actually tunic length perfect for leggings too. At under $20 it’s a must-have!

I think it’s safe to say that Layla was completely worn out after all of her adventures. She’s still talking about the tractor, so we might even be making a second trip this year.

Aww, how sweet is that pic where she’s cuddled up next to you! You’re both adorable in your plaid shirts too! I’m getting excited for our pumpkin patch trip that’s coming up here soon!
