Long Gray Vest + Picket Fence Giveaway

I’m a big proponent of having a wardrobe full of staples that you’ll wear over and over. There’s nothing worse than having a closet of items you’ll only wear once, right?! Of course, a striped tee is always one of my top staple picks, along with a great pair of black jeans. But one item I didn’t have until recently was a long gray vest! Vests are a staple that can be worn to work and on the weekend, especially when they’re a tailored version like this one.

I’d definitely recommend sticking with a neutral color like gray, black, tan or even a soft pink when it comes to selecting a vest. You’ll be able to remix those neutrals with any other color combination or print you have in your closet! Although you could definitely go with a shorter vest, a longer cut is a more modern version and is so flattering. It really streamlines your figure, creating a shapely silhouette. And what woman doesn’t want that?!

    I like your vest with the striped tee, I just bought my first vest in the Christmas sales as I was unsure about them before I use it for warm weather as I want my arms covered when it’s cold, haha! I need to try it with stripes next.

    I have been following you for a while but the last couple/few months it seems that you are wearing so much of what I’d wear on the daily.
    I just love your style.
    Some of my staples are S denim shirt and jacket, a white tee, long sleeve and short sleeve, and a great fitting pair of jeans.

    My current wardrobe staples are my destroyed skinny jeans (in various washes), ruffle & cold shoulder tops, and faux leather moto & bomber jackets.

    Black and gray suits that I love to wear together (gray jacket and black pants, etc) with different tops so everything is still very professional, but not as formal and boring as wearing a matching suit.

    I’m originally from Pittsburgh and will need to check out Picket Fences the next time I’m back home visiting family!

    My wardrobe staples are flowy knit tops and stretchy black skinny pants. Not incredibly exciting, but they can go from work to play and back again.
