When it comes to fall and winter fashion, puffer vests are a staple! I’ve owned mine for years and continually find them to be a go-to! So, when one of y’all requested a puffer vest style session, I knew it’d be a hit! I’m bringing you six puffer vest outfits, but these examples are just the beginning! Read on to see all six outfits plus my recommendations of how to mix it up even more!

Puffer Vest with a Turtleneck

Just think of this turtleneck as any lightweight layer! You could easily swap this for a plain tee, patterned one, or sweater turtleneck! I do love it with the stripes of course, but something more basic would work just as well! This outfit version with my turtleneck tee is perfect slightly warmer fall and winter days!

Puffer Vest with a Sweater

If you want to be a little cozier, a heavier weight layer like a sweater is perfect! For a slightly more classic look, just go with a solid sweater! And you aren’t limited to a crewneck style. Try a turtleneck, cowl neck, lightweight or even chunkier knits! Any type of sweater works here.

For the shoe, you also have lots of options. The red pointy toe flats make this look a little dressier. You could even wear this with heels to elevate it even more! But you can also go casual! Try a mule, bootie or even over the knee boot!

This is one of my most casual options, but it’s a combination I wore countless times last winter! If you want to make it even cozier, swap the tee for a sweater! I need to try this with a turtleneck front-tucked into my joggers!

I love pairing my puffer vest with a sweater dress, but you can pair it with so many different dresses! Try a shirt dress or tshirt dress! And obviously, you don’t have to go with Hunter boots. Flats, mules, booties, riding boots or over the knee boots all work!

Puffer Vest with a Button Down

Button downs, especially plaid ones, are a staple this time of year. And they pair perfectly with a puffer vest! I went with a tunic length option so that I could wear leggings, but any button down will do! Try solids, chambray, prints and patterns! You could also swap any bottom! Tuck the button down into a skirt! Or go with jeans instead! The options are endless.
