It’s no secret that leopard is one of my go-to prints! But if you’re newer to the trend, or just want some fresh ideas, I’m bringing y’all six leopard sweater outfits for winter! What’s truly wonderful about these outfits is that you can apply them to any sweater in your wardrobe! So go raid your closet for your fav sweater (leopard or not!) and get to outfit creation with these ideas!
Six Leopard Sweater Outfits
Y’all know that in my style sessions (posts where I style one item multiple ways!), I love to include a variety of options! When an item can only be worn one way, you can get stuck with a closet of items that just don’t work together! So, we’re covering the most casual of looks (hello leggings!) to an option that’s perfect for a night out!
The exact sweater I’m styling is a fairly new arrival from Madewell! The description mentions that it’s shrunken, but I found the fit to still be somewhat generous in the body. The only part that is more fitted is the banded bottom! But when folding over or tucking, it becomes a non-issue! I stuck with my typical size medium.
Leopard Sweater with Skinny Jeans and Heels
For the first leopard sweater outfit, I wanted to create a dressier look that could be worn for a casual Friday work outfit or a night out! Classic skinny jeans and heels keeps the outfit ultra-classic. For a business casual outfit, I’d swap out the jeans for black skinny dress pants. You could also opt for a slim-fitting black blazer instead of the moto jacket! I’d just recommend keeping it a tailored blazer to create structure against the sweater! For date night, I love the addition of the slightly edgy moto jacket.

Leopard Sweater with Leggings
This is my everyday mom life, casual weekend outfit option! I keep talking about how I’m living in leggings lately, so of course I had to include them! (See even more Spanx faux leather leggings outfits here!) What I love about this outfit is that with the chambray button down, it still gives off a put-together vibe! If you wanted to go even more casual, a long tunic tee could be another layering option!
And I’ve mentioned this in a ton of style sessions, but I have to again here! The shoes really make this outfit. To stay casual for everyday I went with sneakers. But if you swapped for a ballet flat or bootie, the outfit would have a more elevated look. You could even take it up another notch with a pair of heels!

Leopard Sweater with a Denim Jacket
Another go-to combination of mine! When the weather isn’t quite as frigid, I love layering a sweater with a denim jacket! The addition of the jacket offers some structure and completes an otherwise super-basic outfit.
For denim I went with my classic black skinnies. When I’m wearing a denim on denim look, I typically prefer for there to be a good amount of contrast between denim washes! So, here I went with black and blue denim together! I’d also do a light wash blue paired with a dark wash blue. I just don’t love when the pieces get too matchy-matchy!

Leopard Sweater and Grey Jeans
For this slightly trendier outfit, it’s all about the booties and hat! Again, the combination is basic: I paired my leopard sweater with grey jeans! But what really makes this look is the addition of a trendier moto bootie and felt fedora hat. To complete it, I’d recommend layering with a moto jacket or structured boyfriend blazer! You can scroll down to the next image to see the moto jacket option!
And if it’s still too cold where you are (I feel BTW!), I love this look layered with a leather jacket too!

Leopard Sweater over a Shirtdress
After putting together the chambray and sweater combo, it instantly reminded me of this shirtdress! It’s a wardrobe staple of mine and a piece that can be so versatile for every season! To make it wintertime appropriate, I layered my leopard sweater on top. I pulled out the collar and folded the sleeves back as well! To keep the layered from getting sloppy, I used the attached belt to tuck in the bottom of a sweater! If your shirtdress does not have an attached belt, any skinny belt at your natural waist will work just as well!

Leopard Sweater and Overalls
At the last minute when I was putting away all the jeans I pulled out, I saw these overalls and knew they’d be perfect! Since they have a skinny fit with fitted waist, you’ll want to make sure that your sweater isn’t too oversized! Expect some of it to hang over the sides and simply tuck it in as best you can!
Although this outfit was a last-minute addition, it ended up being one of my favorites! You could also swap the sneakers for booties to dress it up some. I’d also add my black moto jacket on top as another layer!
