Thank you to Walmart for partnering with me for this post.
Caramel apples are one of the very best fall snacks of all time! But let’s be real. They’re a little messy to make and can be even messier to eat, especially for little ones. Enter this fall apple nachos recipe.

What I love about apple nachos is that they are so incredibly simple to make! They’re also highly customizable to different taste buds or even different occasions! Layla and I decided to really dig into the spirit of Halloween with our fall apple nachos! But you could change them up for so many different seasons.

Of course the first thing we did was place a pickup order with Walmart for our ingredients. They are our go-to for affordable, fresh groceries! I especially love that while shopping Walmart’s private label brands, we can stretch our dollar further without sacrificing quality!
Fall Apple Nachos Recipe

Like I mentioned, apple nachos ingredients are so customizable! But for our fall apple nachos recipe, we used natural peanut butter, caramel syrup, semi-sweet chocolate chips, Halloween sprinkles, and Granny Smith apples!

To start, thinly slice the apples and spread them out on a board, cookie sheet, or large plate! We used five apples for a large sharable serving! Then, we melted four tablespoons of peanut butter in the microwave. I suggest melting it slowly. I heated the peanut butter in 10 second increments until it was smooth enough to drizzle!

Next, we drizzled the caramel sauce! You could also add a melted chocolate (or chocolate sauce!) drizzle, but we opted for chocolate chips instead! As a final topper, we added fun Halloween sprinkles with ghosts and bats!

They were so delicious y’all and a big hit with the girls! I have a feeling apple nachos are going to be a big after school snack request now! And since they’re so simple, I’ll happily make single servings after school!
Have you ever made apple nachos? What would your ideal toppings be?!
