Summertime may be winding down, but that’s not stopping me from rocking my summertime favorite – the maxi dress. However since the weather has been unseasonably cool the past week or so, I’ve come up with three ways to layer my favorite maxi dress.
1. Knotted tee
With a knotted tshirt, your favorite maxi dress instantly becomes a maxi skirt. Make sure to select a lightweight tee to stay cool in the end-of-summer sun!
2. Denim Vest
A denim vest is a great topper for a maxi! I love the bit of structure it adds to a flowy dress.
3. Knotted Chambray
In terms of my obsessions, chambray may come in a close second behind maxi dresses. They’re such a great layering piece for any dress. Plus they’re a bit heavier in case Fall weather makes an early visit.

I love how knotting a simple tee over it completely changes the look. Definitely my favorite out of the three!
