I used to think of my work wear, and associate it with boring staples in black, navy or gray (mostly because that’s all I purchased). But I’ve come to love the little ways I can add personality to my work wear. Although still conservative pieces individually, together the gingham plaid button down mixed with blue and red stripe blazer add a little fun.
What I also love about these pieces is that none of them are strictly office pieces. The blazer, button down and flats are all a part of my casual wardrobe as well.

I have closet full of plain black pants and put some spice in my wardrobe with my shoes and tops. But its so boring still!! I need to use your ideas to get rid of the black pant plague I have going on!!

Love it! I have a rule about buying clothes that the majority needs to be suitable for both work and casual-wear interchangeably. It’s like double the wardrobe!
I’ve always said this, but you really do have the best work wardrobe. It’s very professional, but still infused with your personality. I can totally tell you feel like “you” in these outfits!

This is a great reminder to me to remember to have fun with my work wardrobe! I love what you’re wearing so much! I think I get complacent sometimes because it’s too early in the morning for me to want to deal with getting dressed, so I’ll throw on the most comfortable thing possible that I can get away with. I have my moments, but usually I’m way too lazy. I would feel so good if I looked as great as you did every day!
