5 Classic Wardrobe Necessities Under $50

Since I made it my mission to focus on purchasing classic clothing pieces, I’ve been on the hunt for affordable finds that fit the bill. Here are five of my favorite wardrobe staples (each under $50)! Feel free to get your guiltless shop on. five wardrobe staples under $50

1. Every lady needs a pair of black skinny jeans. They’re perfect for all seasons! And who doesn’t want the appearance of long, slim legs?! (Jeans via Old Navy – $35! Plus use ONSAVENOW for an extra 15% off!)

2. An oxford is a must-have for any age. They work in the office AND on the weekend. Need to layer up? They work great with sweaters, cardigans and dresses too! (Oxford via Gap – $35! Use code GAPHELLO for an extra $30 off)

3. I’m a self-proclaimed flats girl, so a pair of chic, modern flats had to make their way on the list. But even the most committed heel devotees need a break every now and again, right? (D’Orsay flats via Target – $28!)

4. Chambray. Need further explanation? Check out my Five Ways to Wear Chambray part one and two! (Chambray via J.Crew Factory – $39.50!)

5. A Black blazer can dress up a tee for the weekend or make a power suit. It’s a necessary piece for all women! (Blazer via Target – $35!)

Loving your picks! I made a conscious effort last year to focus on quality staples and I find that my wardrobe has little “holes” as a cause. You’ll be happy you took your shopping in this direction!

I feel like I could use a real proper button up white dress shirt. I have thinner summery ones and slightly funkier side zip ones and normal styles in red, black and blue… but not white!

And you might have sold me on chambray. I don’t own any chambray and I loved your other post on how to wear it! 🙂
