Simple color-blocking is one of my favorite ways to create an easy, chic outfit. It’s a timeless classic — and did I mention, easy? Mixing and matching solids is about as straightforward as it gets, right?!For Summer color-blocking is perfect with white denim. For Winter, I went for classic black and snuggled up with a solid cream scarf. Doesn’t get any less complicated than that…

The Style Storm
What a great too! Very cool it can cross seasons too, those pieces are the best. Thanks for the opportunity to co-host today 🙂
Too should be top, sorry. Silly typing thumbs 😉
Your color blocked top is really cute!!
I love a piece that can transition from one season to another!
The Tiny Heart
I love this….so simple and classy!
I love both of these looks. But, my favorite is the look with the white jeans. So cute.
That top is so cute and I love that it is neutral. You did a great job remixing it for 2 different seasons and your choice of Nude Shoes was perfect both ways. Check out how I remixed my Fair Isle Cardigan today. =)
And 2 great Co-Hosts by the way. I will E-Mail you about co-hosting. 😉
Have a Great Monday, Ada. =)
Love the white pants with that top and those blush flats!
That’s a great top! I would love to see it with emerald, red, and plum, too! So versatile! Thanks for hosting!
What a great top! I love it paired with the new neutral of leopard.
So simple but so chic- the ideal combo in my opinion! I absolutely love these looks, and I am so happy to see white jeans! I don’t abide by the “no white after labor day” but any means, but I still have a tendency to associate white jeans with summer time. Given that it’s -2 here today without the wind chill, I needed a little summer inspiration!
Love the colorblock top and the leopard bag!
Great color blocking, cute flats.
I love this!! So pretty.
What a great, versatile top! It really works no matter the season!
Love that top! It’s so simple and chic!
Loving it with the white jeans!
I love this outfit! Such pretty colors.
Your flats are so perfect! I love how versatile they are! You look great!
I love the two-toned blouse! It’s different enough to be a statement on its own, but the color palette is also subtle enough to serve as the backdrop to brighter colors. Also, white denim–>black denim for winter is always a great trick to make your outfit seem like new.
Another Beautiful Thing
Okay, I need to steal your purse!
I love anything color block!
Beautiful blouse, and it sort of styles itself! Love it with the leopard bag.
Love that top…and I’m dying over the animal print bag 🙂
I love how you styled this two ways for two totally different seasons! So awesome! You look great!
That top is adorable! I love how you styled it both ways!
That top is super cute BOTH ways Lauren!
Can’t go wrong with neutrals!
Hope I’m not too late for your fun link up Lauren…..can’t believe how lovely color block can be in winter!!!
This looks so great! I love how you added the print with the leopard bag!

I absolutely love the tone of your nude pump.. very tasteful and pretty!
Mrs Jack Of All Trades
I want that top, and I love your winter colorblocking! Well, and the summer while we’re at it! You never have a bad outfit!
I didn’t realize color blocking in summer using neutral colors works pretty good. Glad you pointed that out.
The colors look great on you too.
