Outside of black, I’d say that one of my default colors has to be navy blue. It’s a timeless classic. Are you surprised? So it was really a breeze to mix all of my navy into one work look: navy bows, navy stripes, navy cropped pants… Good thing I didn’t have any navy accented flats ’cause Lord know that would have been overkill. But with the mix of red to break it all up, I was quite pleased with the result. And this is why my closet is color coded, y’all. Mixing and matching made easy.

The bows and stripes are too cute! I like wearing navy too…it’s a less harsh alternative to black!

I love this combo, I wore something similar fairly recent minus the bows, but they give it an awesome touch.

I went to Target last night and when my friend asked me what I left with (because I told her I only went in for hair dye) I realized I left with a whole lot of navy! Fortunately the hair dye was not navy. I even put back a navy pencil skirt to get a navy purse.
I am a huge fan of navy too. Great pattern mixing!
