Stripes & Bows

Outside of black, I’d say that one of my default colors has to be navy blue. It’s a timeless classic. Are you surprised? So it was really a breeze to mix all of my navy into one work look: navy bows, navy stripes, navy cropped pants… Good thing I didn’t have any navy accented flats ’cause Lord know that would have been overkill.dress up cropped pants for officeBut with the mix of red to break it all up, I was quite pleased with the result. And this is why my closet is color coded, y’all. I went to Target last night and when my friend asked me what I left with (because I told her I only went in for hair dye) I realized I left with a whole lot of navy! Fortunately the hair dye was not navy. I even put back a navy pencil skirt to get a navy purse.

I’m with you girl! I love navy and I could pretty much wear stripes everyday of the week! Love this nautical inspired look! Have a great weekend! 🙂
