Man, has it been cold. Like single-digit, wind-chill-in-the-negatives cold. (Not to mention the 6+ inches of snow we just accumulated.) I am so not prepared for that living in Virginia! So what’s a girl to do? Wear all the layers: turtleneck, flannel, and faux fur definitely kept me warm!
And now that there’s actual snow on the ground my plan is to hide up in my house until the streets are clear. Thank goodness I don’t live in Boston because I’d be hibernating for months. I’ll only have to make it a couple of days. At least my PJ’s are getting lots of wear?

The weather here in NJ has been the same…horribly cold, snowy, and icy! I am totally in love with your layering here 🙂
I feel the same way. I grew up in Rhode Island and now live in VA. I couldn’t cope with that weather up there anymore. This is enough for me.
Love the layering!

I agree, this winter weather has been extra brutal lately. Layered looks are the way to go!
I don’t see how you ladies do it….I would die!! Ha!! Stay warm…at least you look adorable!! Love all the layering…the fur vest completes it all!
Loving this layered look! And yep, you would hate living in CT too, so much snowwwww, it won’t go away!
Love the look! Plaid + Leopard print <3
I love your layered look! It looks so cozy and warm 🙂 It gets wickedly cold here in MN too, but my work tends to run on the warmer side, so usually its just a scarf and maybe a vest that I can take off if I get too hot.
You look amazing. I love your plaid and boots. I have about 14 inches of snow here in Kentucky. It is just crazy.

Cute look Lauren, I love the vest. Hope you stay warm, I am from VA too and it is frigid. Did you get snow?

All of your layers look fantastic together. The south is not for this weather! I do love a few inches of snow and a snow day though.
