Phew! What a weekend. Poor Layla hasn’t been feeling her best, so we had one cranky baby to deal with the past couple of days. She’s had tummy troubles and hasn’t been super-interested in eating as much. (Which is absolutely unlike her!) It’s so sad to see her like that, but I will say that I didn’t mind for a minute the extra cuddles I got. She kept laying on my lap to get back rubs. So sweet!
Top: LOFT, Jeans: Hudson, Shoes: Converse, Bag: Michael Kors (similar), Necklace: Stella & Dot Sutton, Bracelet: Stella & Dot Pyramid Stud
For a slightly cooler day over the weekend I broke out my fave skinnies and paired it with my gingham swing top. You may remember this top from Summer with shorts! I feel like gingham is always pigeonholed for Spring and Summer, but I’m determined to wear it into Fall!
Now I’d love to see how you’re remixing your wardrobe!

I’m also rocking the black and white gingham today, great minds think alike 🙂 I love your sleeveless version; I think it is a great year-round layering piece!

You look great. There are few things better than gingham paired with denim.

I hope she feels better soon! It’s rough with a sick child, especially when they’re still too young to accurately express exactly what’s wrong. I’m loving all the accessories with this look though!
I LOVE the sleeveless gingham! This is the first time I’ve seen a sleeveless button up gingham, and it is SO perfect for everyone who is dealing with insanely hot “fall” weather! You can feel fall-ish but not melt! Perfect!

I hope little Layla feels better soon. This tank is perfect for transitioning into fall between the gingham print and the darker colors.
Awe! I hope she feels better soon! On a happy note, your outfit is super cute! 🙂

Hope Layla is feeling better!! Also, love the gingham top- throw a jewel toned cardigan over it and it will work perfectly for fall 😀
This was by far my favorite purchase this Summer! I could wear that gingham tank everyday!
