Striped Maxi and a Cargo Vest

If you’re ready to transition your wardrobe to Fall, then outfits like this are perfect. It’s still a little warm, but adding a cargo vest over a maxi and sticking to more muted colors feels like Fall. It’s a great compromise!

And on a completely different note, I also wanted to thank y’all for the sweet well wishes for Layla. She is doing much better, which is such a relief. We were all back to normal yesterday. By the afternoon, she was eating like a champ, and even devoured a slice of margarita pizza from our lunch date at Cheesecake Factory. If you caught her on snapchat (@fizzandfrosting), you also saw her sucking on a lemon. What babies (toddlers? Is she a toddler?!) like lemons?! I guess mine!

I’m glad Layla is feeling better! My little sister also used to eat lemons, and my parents thought it was so weird haha! Love the military vest over the striped maxi. Great transition outfit into fall!

I’ve been rocking my cargo vest a lot lately, it’s the perfect transition piece. I think the rule is babies become toddlers once they can walk.

So in love with this vest! I’ve been on the hunt for a similar one, but I find the vests I usually pick out tend to be a bit bulky. I’ll keep searching though! haha I’m glad your little one is feeling better! ????
