Happy Monday! I hope y’all had a great weekend. After a few rainy, cool weekends, we finally had some sunshine here in Virginia, and it was just perfect! Yesterday we made a drive to Charlottesville to-do a little apple picking with Layla. It’s become a yearly tradition, but this is the first year that Layla was actually able to participate, which was so fun. And what’s better is that our weekend isn’t over! Aaron took the day off today, so we’re enjoying a little more family time, and I’m not complaining one minute about it! 😉
And now onto all the outfit details!! I had been wanting a pair of heeled over the knee boots for awhile, but as a mom (and honestly someone who just prefers comfort when it comes to shoes), I didn’t want a high heel. These from Sole Society are just perfect. I’m on the taller side (5’7″) with long legs, and these still come over my knee, which is awesome! You don’t know how many pairs just end up looking like regular ole knee high boots on me! I also love how comfortable they are. One word of warning though, since it only has a lower zipper portion, you might break a sweat trying to take them off. I finally figured out this really nice technique of pulling to a certain angle and then flopping my foot around until they slide off. I’m sure it’s super-fun to watch and not spazz-y at all.
Black jeans are an all-time favorite of mine year-round but even more so in the Fall and Winter. If you want to see more ways to wear them, check out my Perfect Fall Outfit, Wrap Tee + Lace Bralette look, or Black Friday Style post!
