If you could see me on a day to day basis, you’d know that these pieces are my Spring mom style staples. I’m all about interesting tees and tops with jeans. And I’ve always been a flats girl, but lately I’ve found my love of sneakers. Thank goodness for the athleisure trend right? Sneakers are where it’s at.
I actually picked up these quilted slip-ons on a whim while shopping in California. I couldn’t decide how much wear I’d really get out of them, but for the price point (under $40, holla!) I figured I couldn’t pass them up. Immediately my hubby coined them my “ugly shoes,” and that was pretty much all I needed to dig my heels in and commit to wearing them all the time.
Of course these days wearing them is 100% about comfort and 0% about proving my style choices to my husband. They’ve just become a regular go-to for day to day life. In fact they rarely make it back to my closet these days. Most of the time I just leave them on the steps because they’re so easy to kick on and go. And the awesome part is that they’re still available. So high five for that, right?!
And now onto this tee. If it looks familiar, you would be spot on. I actually ordered it first in black because it reminded me so much of this Free People tee.ย (You can see how I styled it on the blog here!) Aaand like my sneakers, I’ve been wearing it to death. So naturally the logical thing to do is to get another color, no? Y’all, I think I like it even better in olive. With white jeans it feels so fresh and Spring-ready. My Spring mom style is set.
Top c/o Shein | Jeans under $35! | Shoes under $40! | Tote | Necklace c/o Baublebar | Nude lipstick
If you love this top, be sure to pay attention to sizing! It is definitely oversized! I’m in a small for reference. The shoes are also pretty TTS. I found them a bit snug at first but they stretched out with wear and are now perfection. If you have a wider foot, I would suggest going up half a size.
I have had my eye on that shirt for quite some time – ordering it now! So gorgeous!

That is such a great peplum tee, I can see why you had to have it in another colour too! ๐ I tend to buy multiples in different colours of things I like as well ๐
Hope you are having a wonderful week!

slip on sneakers are my JAM. I’m so happy they’ve been deemed stylish, but truly I would be wearing them even if they weren’t! haha.

I literally just bought an olive green peplum tee yesterday, but I’m kind of loving the more structured shape of this one. Love your mom style!
