Where are my girly girls at?! If you consider your favorite neutral to be blush pink, prefer picking dresses over jeans, and firmly believe that flowers complete any outfit, then let me tell ya: this girly spring outfit is for you. Sure my everyday style might be more casual. I often pick jeans over anything fancy, or let’s be honest, even occasionally athleisure over anything! But that doesn’t mean that I don’t let out my inner girly girl from time to time. And this outfit is the perfect way to do it.
With the layered ruffles, pale blue stripe, and mini cut, this dress just screamed “spring!” to me. Now I’ll be real with y’all. The length is a little short for my comfort level when it comes to everyday wear. You would definitely not see me rocking this dress along with my toddler on a random Monday. Having the husband around was a necessity. Buuuut I will say that I’m also on the taller side (a little over 5’7″), and pretty much all my height comes from my legs. So anything mini tends to look a little more mini on me!
And because of the oversized cut of the dress I went with a size medium. When ordering from this brand, I typically size up to a large or even extra large after reading the measurements. Because I knew it was wider, I stuck with a medium. Going with a larger size definitely adds more length if that’s a concern!
Ok, now before y’all go, I HAVE to do a quick reminder that today is the first day of Sephora’s spring sale event for Beauty Insiders. (If you don’t know what being a Beauty Insider is, it is basically a free rewards program. You get points for your purchases, which you can exchange for deluxe sized samples! Aaaand by signing up, you’ll get 10% off your order for the sale too! -> You can sign up here!) This little blurb is not at all sponsored! I am just super-excited because it’s pretty rare to get beauty products at a discount, and y’all know this gal loves a sale.
Here are a few recommendations of my favorite products! And if you want to know why I love them and more, be sure to check out my Insta stories! I spent about 15 minutes yesterday afternoon going through this list of favorites in more detail. You’ll get the scoop there!
