It’s been a while since Layla made an appearance on the blog, but with Mother’s Day right around the corner, it’s time to change that! I’ve definitely mentioned my affinity for wearing matching mother-daughter outfits before, and I’m bringing ’em back with today’s mother-daughter style post. I’ve got a major confession to make: when it comes to gifts, I’m pretty sure my husband Aaron would say I’m a bit of a nightmare to shop for. Running this blog is deeply rooted in my personal style. So if there is something I want clothing or accessories-wise, I typically buy it myself without much thought. (Of course this applies to reasonably-priced, within-budget items.) And when it comes to jewelry… well let’s say I can be a bit particular. (Man, this is making me sound a bit bratty or ungrateful. I promise I’m not!!) The first item that caught my eye was this circle pendant necklace. It’s one of those pieces that could definitely been worn every day with everything from tshirts and jeans to a pretty sundress to your best little black dress. And of course I was all about the pearl earrings. I first fell in love with them back in my college days (#sororitylife), and they’ve been one of my must-haves ever since! I’m also obsessed with this three row stack ring. It’s a classy statement-maker that I could see as a go-to piece for every outfit!
