Amazon Activewear Try On

With the beginning of the New Year, I know a lot of people recommit to their workout routines. I haven’t so much done that… I still haven’t hardly worked out at all since having a baby five months ago.  ?Buuut, I have doing a major purge and cleaning out of my closet! And I came to a major realization. My workout wear was seriously lacking. I had tons of leggings that I didn’t like for one reason or another: they didn’t fit properly, they fell down when running, they had a random hole in them. Can anyone relate?! So, I cleaned it all out and went on a hunt for workout clothes that I’d actually like wearing! Of course I turned to one of my (and your!) favorites to bring you an Amazon activewear try on!

Amazon Activewear

For a good number of the items, I used Amazon’s at-home try-on service, Amazon Prime Wardrobe. This is actually my second time using the service, and I liked it so much better this time around. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that I was looking for very specific items this time rather than just browsing the entire site. (Hello, overwhelming.) But if you want more information about how it works, you can read my initial Prime Wardrobe experience and review!

As far as sizing goes, I am 5’7″ and currently a 29/8/M. I ordered mediums in almost everything but I will list what size I’m wearing beneath each photo!

Mock Neck Workout Top + Build-Your-Own Legging

If you workout outside, this top is everything. I wish it was a little less snug, but I could fix that by sizing up one. It has a mock neck, thumb holes, and almost covers the booty in length. I love the color too although it does also come in black, gray, and white! It is also available in plus sizing.

These leggings are also awesome because you can design them to your specifications. They have extended sizes, short, regular and tall lengths, and three rises. The quality reminds me so much of Zella live in leggings for about the same price. The only difference I noticed was the seam at the calf. With these, they look a little more athletic, while the Zella stay straight and I wear them casually more than for workouts!

Sports Bra + Build-Your-Own Leggings

This sports bra had amazing reviews (over 4,000 and 4.5 stars)! Also the price is awesome at under $15! It’s listed as a “high impact,” but it didn’t feel that supportive to me! I did order a large and should have ordered a medium, so that might have had a lot to do with it. But I can’t imagine running in it. It’s still a great sports bra and it comes in six colors, but I’d say it’s better suited for low to medium impact! (These leggings are the same as above!)

Adidas Tank + Star Leggings

Spoiler alert: I kept both this top and the leggings! This tank is just great all around. I love the relaxed fit and the length. It does have lower arm holes if that bothers you, but the price is awesome. (I think I paid either $12 of $14? It looks like different sizes have different prices!) It comes in ten colors.

And these leggings! They are the same fit as the build-your-own. They are high-waisted and a nice thick weight. The print is a very small star, and bonus: the stars are reflective! They’re perfect for running outdoors or really any workout! There is also a matching sports bra if you like matching sets!

Stripe Band Sports Bra

Sometimes I forget I’m nursing and that bras might not fit the same. ?This bra barely even fit over my chest. Soooo, no picture for y’all. I do think it fits small though and the other thing I didn’t love was that the front straps cut in a little more to expose more chest. If you have a larger bust, I’d just skip over this one!

Sports Bra + Build-Your-Own Run Leggings (Mesh Detail)

This sports bra is really beautiful in person. I love the color and the back has a cute open design. It’s also more supportive than I would have thought too! I definitely think it’s suitable for high impact exercise. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was how I looked in it. I never wear sports bras without a top, so it doesn’t really matter. But I just thought it wasn’t the most flattering.

Under Armour Technical Tee + Cranberry Sports BraBuild-Your-Own Run Leggings (Mesh Detail)

If you prefer working out in a tee, this one is awesome! I also kept this. It’s under $15 and comes in 11 colors! The fit is relaxed and comfortable!

These leggings are a different version of the build-your-own by Core 10. They are their “run” legging and have side pockets on each thigh. They also have a hidden drawstring so that you can tighten them. The last main difference between these and the previous pair is the mesh inset. It’s small and right by the calf!

Performance Fleece Jogger

Of course I had to order some joggers too. Comfort is key, right? I knew these didn’t have a drawstring waist like most of my joggers, but I didn’t realize they also didn’t have pockets. They are a true performance fleece material, which are great for working out. I was looking for more of a lounge pant, but if you want a relaxed fit pant for exercise, check these out!

Velvet Jogger

I’d seen velvet joggers at other stores and had been wanting to try them. So, I was pumped to see these on Amazon! Y’all, they are everything I had imagined and more. They are the most comfortable jogger I’ve ever put on. Since they are velvet, they’re meant for winter, which makes them a bit less versatile. But I still love them. They also come in a navy blue. I styled them below for an everyday outfit!

If I wanted to wear these out, I’d wear them like this! I love how they look with a sweater and flats!
