Although we may not be attending big holiday events this year, I’m still embracing a festive spirit! With holiday outfits, a little red lipstick, a fun manicure, and holiday hairstyles, I can still get in the spirit– even at home! These three quick, easy holiday hairstyles will take you less than five minutes start to finish! And the best part is that they work even better with day two or three hair. Win-win, no?!
Deep Part with Hair Clips
This is one of the all-time easiest hairstyles but it always instantly makes me feel glamorous! Start with styled hair. I typically go for brushed out curls to achieve an old Hollywood glam!
Create a deep part on one side. Take some time adjusting your hair around your part. Since I almost always part my hair down the center, it takes some brushing and adjusting to get it to lay the way I’d like. This will be easier with second (or more!) day hair! Freshly washed may be a bit too slippery to adjust and stay in place! But you can make it work with a little hairspray!

To complete the hairstyle, take your hair pins and clip them in! I like to alternate the way the clip is facing. Clip one towards your face and one away. Spacing is up to you but I like to leave a little hair in between, especially when I’m using larger clips! Skinnier bobby pins look great stacked closely together!

Half Up with a Bow
In order to get more body in my half-up styles, I like to start by spraying voluming spray at the roots! Really massage it into your roots and scalp! Then separate your hair right at the top of your ear. From the top of my ear, I extend my part straight across the back of my head until my hands meet. (For a more Bridgette Bardot look, try a high half pony at the crown of your head!)

Once I’ve smoothed out any bumps with my fingers or hair brush, I tie my hair together with this hair tie with velvet bow attached! A plain ribbon works just as well! Then I loosen hair at my roots for additional volume. You can also pull forward a few face-framing pieces!

Top Knot with a Bow
When I’m short on time and don’t have freshly washed hair (or styled hair), this is a simple, elegant go-to! I actually recommend trying this style with second or third day hair, since the added grit and texture make it easier to style! Have freshly washed hair? Try adding a bit of dry shampoo or texturizing spray to create grit!
I take my hair into a high pony tail and secure with a hair tie. To make my top knot, I simply wrap my pony tail around the base of the hair tie and tuck the ends into my hair tie. Don’t worry if it’s not secure, we’ll add bobby pins later!

Then add your ribbon! Mine is attached to a hair tie, making it easy to stretch and plop over the base of my bun. Once the bow is in place, then I bobby pin a few pieces of the top knot down, You can also secure your bow in the same way with a bobby pin!

And that’s it, y’all! Three quick easy holiday hairstyles that take no time flat! Which style would you wear?
