Dressed Up Cargo Jacket

Military-inspired pieces have been hot for a while now, and although I have a pair of cargo skinnies, my closet was seriously lacking a cargo jacket. To be honest I always considered them to be more of a fall piece and didn’t have one on my lust list until I saw Kendi’s Olive & Blue outfit post.

how wear cargo jacketI loved how casually cool her look was and couldn’t wait to recreate it. Luckily Old Navy came to the rescue with a super-affordable jacket that will be a great layering piece regardless of the season.

Lauren, that jacket is so cute. It’s very tailored and easy to wear! I’ve always viewed those kind of jackets as bulky, which can be cumbersome. Love your dress and booties. Have a great week!

I have a cargo jacket that I alternate with my trench for spring–both are casual and lightweight, which I love. The way you styled your look here is adorable–I want that dress!

A cargo jacket is one of those pieces that’s been on my list for a long time! I’ve yet to find the perfect one but yours looks so lovely on you! I love the combo of the dark olive and navy stripes!

Thanks, Jen! It was a piece that I always considered buying but was never at the top of my list. I’m glad I snagged this one though!

Love your new jacket!! And it looks so good with the striped dress and booties! You look adorable. I do not own a single military inspired piece (that I am aware of). I never could really get on board with it… I feel like I look awkward in it. But you look too cute! Maybe I should try…

Lauren you have proven once again that a Stripey Black+White Dress, an Olive Green Military Jacket & Neutral Booties with a slight heel are 3 Casual Staples that should belong on a Woman’s Closet. Pairing all 3 together is Genius. I am loving the look. Great Necklace too. =)

Ohhh and check this out, darling.

I saw a cargo jacket at H&M and I probably should have bought it…. I might regret that one. Such a good price! And it totally spices up a striped dress!

I don’t have a military jacket yet, but it seems like its such a versatile piece! I love it with your striped dress and your booties.

I recently found a military jacket at a consignment store and I didn’t get it. You’re making me regret that decision. Yours looks so great with this striped dress, and the boots are the perfect accent.

Love the dress paired with the boots! That is definitely a style I want to be able to wear myself…there’s such a short window where you can wear both of them here in FL!

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting
my own blog and was curious what all is needed to get set up?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty
penny? I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100% positive. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Kudos
