Like I’ve mentioned before, I have found myself jumping on some of those eighties trends making a comeback. But when it comes to incorporating those trends, like neon, into my work wardrobe, being a little more subtle is key.I created a neutral canvas by pairing shades of blue with my chambray top and navy pencil skirt. It is the perfect background to add pops of color with my belt and shoes. With a little sparkle on my neckline, I felt fashion-forward without looking overly trendy for the office.
Do you wear neon to work?
PS – I’ve found an even better way to tie a bow belt and a short tutorial is coming!

I’ve been considering getting a neon yellow skinny belt, I think you may just convinced me!
Love the denim on navy backdrop for these fun pops of neon. The lower heel on that wedge is perfect too!
Those wedges are so cute! Yesterday I wore a neon peplum top to work and I was kinda scared, haha.

Such a cute way to work in a little neon!
I love your outfit. I have been in search of the perfect denim shirt for such a long time but I can’t find one that fits me just right. Little pops of neon look great with that outfit. That necklace is so pretty! I love statement necklaces so much that I seldom leave home without wearing one.

Love this look for the office (or not at the office…)! So cute! I wear neon loud and proud at my office, but we are really easy going. But this is fantastic for those that don’t have it as easy.

I would definitely wear neon to work – especially with these softer neutrals, it’s just a tiny pop and not overwhelming or unprofessional.
You have just the right amount of neon for a work outfit! I love that necklace, too!
The pops of color are so fun, and definitely still office appropriate, which I love! ๐
So cute! I can’t wait for the belt bow tie tutorial!
Oh yeah I would wear neon to work but then again I work at a magazine so can get away with it!
