Neon for the Office

Like I’ve mentioned before, I have found myself jumping on some of those eighties trends making a comeback. But when it comes to incorporating those trends, like neon, into my work wardrobe, being a little more subtle is appropriate neonI created a neutral canvas by pairing shades of blue with my chambray top and navy pencil skirt. It is the perfect background to add pops of color with my belt and shoes. With a little sparkle on my neckline, I felt fashion-forward without looking overly trendy for the office.chambray with navy pencil skirtfake a bow beltchambray for workhow to wear chambray to workneon orange patent wedgesDo you wear neon to work?

PS – I’ve found an even better way to tie a bow belt and a short tutorial is coming!

I’m jealous! I wish my dress code was a little less conservative so that I could get away with more fun work outfits! πŸ™‚

Minimal is key when it comes to neon in the office, I’ve learned. You’re doing it perfectly here, and I LOVE the combo of the skirt/chambray!

I love your outfit. I have been in search of the perfect denim shirt for such a long time but I can’t find one that fits me just right. Little pops of neon look great with that outfit. That necklace is so pretty! I love statement necklaces so much that I seldom leave home without wearing one.

Love this look for the office (or not at the office…)! So cute! I wear neon loud and proud at my office, but we are really easy going. But this is fantastic for those that don’t have it as easy.
