Styling a Striped Blazer

Blazers have always been a go-to of mine to help define a waist and create a complete look. Pregnancy hasn’t changed that, and I’m so glad that these non-maternity pieces still work in my wardrobe (regardless if they no longer button!). My navy and white striped blazer continues to be a favorite– it’s such a classic, preppy staple.

I love it for Summer paired with mint but it looks just as fresh and classic with white and navy!

    Hi Lauren,

Despite not generally being a striped blazer kind of girl, at least for myself, you have definitely won me over with both of these look and made me want one for myself. I have a great dress quite similar to that so this would be a great idea I could maybe recreate from my own closet, so thanks for inspiring! Great share that I just added to my Pinterest Board.

If you’re interested, I host a weekly Fashionably Employed Link Up where we share inspiration for great outfits to wear in a professional setting. I think this outfit would be a great contribution if you’re interested in joining. The link up goes live each Monday morning (so it just went up today) and I highlight my favorite look from the week in the following week’s link up.

Hope you’re interested – great look!

Oooh I love this! The mint and navy go together really well. I would figure that blazers and cardigans would still work during pregnancy, just not buttoned!

I feel like I say this all the time, but you look so lovely in all the colors! Plus, those shoes are so pretty! I almost never wear heels, so I’m always looking for interesting dressy flats!

That striped blazer is so pretty. Unfortunately in 90 degree temperatures I cannot bring myself to wear a blazer. I love your shoes too.

Both looks are so great- love the navy and teal especially! I only have solid blazers but after seeing this, I think I need striped one in my wardrobe!

Both looks are great! Classic look with the white and the teal is just beautiful. Love the statement necklaces on both outfits.

I’m struggling to find the right necklace for a similar outfit I have in mind for family pictures.

Would you still go with the white necklace if no stripes in the blazer?

I have a navy blazer I plan to wear. Ideally, I’d wear mint under it as it is the accent color with our otherwise navy family(daughter in navy with small white stripes dress and a mint flower headband in hair(maybe a belt bracelet if i can convince her). hubby in gray. son in navy and white plaid with a fine line of mint running thru it. Or, should I just go with a white undershirt and mint necklace?
