Man, I love a mini dress. LOVE them. But I just don’t have many opportunities to wear them anymore. (Toddler chasing in a short skirt isn’t a great look for me.) When I found this red embroidered mini dress though, I knew it was a must-have. The embroidery was such a gorgeous detail, and the price was too good to pass up. (It’s under $60!) I figured I’d find a time to wear it, and over the weekend I did!
Last Saturday we had a casual wedding reception party to attend at a friend’s house, and we were going kid-free. Enter this dress. It was the perfect festive mini dress for a night of drinks and dancing. Of course I paired it with tan accessories because like I mentioned earlier this week, red and tan together give me all the heart eye emojis. It was the perfect combo for the outdoor get-together. The short dress was fun and flirty, and with my knee high boots I kept warm. Now I just need another ocassion to wear it again. Anyone else feel like hosting a casual wedding?!

You look so beautiful in this dress, I adore the boots with it! I can definitely relate to running round after toddler and having to keep picking food and bottles off the floor haha! I stick leggings and tights under mine but it’s trickier in the summer 😀 I do love my mini dresses and skirts though!
