I’m still in major denial that the school year is right around the corner. And y’all, I have a little kindergartener on my hands! Don’t worry, I’m totally fine. Totally and completely fine. ?But the one thing I am looking forward to is all the back to school shopping! Does anyone else love school supplies? Picking out pencils, folders, and back to school clothes is the best! And luckily Layla shares my love for all it! She couldn’t wait to share her first day of school outfit with y’all! 

Picking out a back to school outfit (or really her perfect any day outfit) always consists of a dress! I typically only buy her a couple of pair of jeans for the entire year, but her dress collection is intense, y’all. And my glitter-loving child loves anything with sparkle, sequins, or unicorns. So, this dress really spoke to her! 

It’s so comfortable. The top is just t-shirt material, and she loves that the skirt is sparkly without being itchy. It also comes in a leopard print “RAD” option, which we’re also ordering! At $11, I wish they had even more of them! But I did also spot this glitter-skirt cat-icorn dress option on sale under $8, and this two-pack of t-shirt dresses for under $12! 

For underneath her dresses, we always have Layla wear a pair of the Wonder Nation biker shorts too! She’s been wearing the same sets I purchased back in the spring and they have held up so well. (A pack of two is $5!) 

For running and playing, Layla is always reaching for her sneakers! Ain’t nothin’ gonna slow this girl down! We found some super-cute options but by far her number one pick is these rainbow sneakers that have rhinestone clouds and heels. (Did I mention she’s into sparkle?! ?) The second fav were these leopard star sneaks! (They also come in silver with black sparkle stars for our fellow glitter-lovin’ kids!)

No one like to place an order, wait weeks to actually get to try it on your kiddos, and find out the size they need is already sold out, right?! That’s pretty much Layla and I’s worst nightmare. ?
