Fourth of July is such a fun-filled holiday! Whether you plan to barbecue, head out to the fireworks, or relax indoors this year, I’ve got you covered with the cutest Fourth of July outfits! I rounded up some of my favorite items beyond your basic graphic tees to step up your 4th of July outfit game.

Fourth of July Tops
For tops, I prefer to stick to an Americana theme without being too in your face. I always look for tops that can fit into your closet and be worn again later.
For a wardrobe basic that you’ll wear all summer, I love this basic tank from Target. It’s super trendy with the halter style neckline and would look perfect tucked into some jean shorts or flowy pants. If you prefer something a little more girly, this pale blue flutter sleeve top is perfect! The sleeves take it to the next level, making it more unique than your basic tee. Both of these shirts would look great paired with some stacked jewelry!
I also love this relaxed fit red and white floral print top! It stays on theme while being more feminine and trendy. Bonus: the button front detail is nursing-friendly!
And when in doubt, stripes are always an easy go-to for Fourth of July outfits. It’s a classic for a reason, right?! It can go with a bunch of different colored bottoms and can be worn again and again. The flutter sleeves and blouse-like silhouette give this shirt a perfectly on-trend look.
Fourth of July Bottoms
For bottoms, I’m all about staying both comfy and stylish. With most of the country being warm by the fourth, your best option is to stay with loose bottoms. These white pants have a breathable fabric and elastic waist band so you’ll be comfortable all day long. These jean colored pants will match everything you own in your wardrobe and the tie front adds a cute touch.
Fourth of July Dresses
Dresses are perfect for functions where you want to look nicer, or when you want something flowy to beat the heat. This white dress from Walmart is a classic. You can never go wrong with a classic white dress. I love the puff sleeve and square neckline detail! Maxi dresses are perfect for those who want something longer. The stripes and button down look make it an instant classic. I would pair it with some strappy sandals!
Of course, we couldn’t forget Madewell. This blue paisley dress is to die for. The silhouette is similar to the white dress, but the pattern makes it a knockout. The white and blue pattern isn’t too busy or overdone. Similarly, this gingham button-front midi dress screams summer picnics. The daisy embroidery on the bottom is a whimsical touch that makes this dress stand out.
Fourth of July Accessories
What’s a Fourth of July outfit without all of the accessories? Statement earrings can turn a basic t-shirt or dress into an instagrammable outfit. These beaded blue earrings resemble a flower and are the earrings of our dreams. Imagine these paired with a white or blue shirt –instantly kicks it up a notch. These beaded white dangle earrings are another great choice as they will go with any outfit, but they stay on trend.
You can’t forget about your hair. Whether you want to wear it in a pony, down, or want it out of your face, this bandana and these hair clips are perfect. The red, white, and blue headscarf can be wrapped around a ponytail or used as a headband. (get even more small scarf styling ideas here) It is festive as it has all of the colors but still looks classy. When in doubt, you can never go wrong with hair clips. This pack contains all of the hair clips to your heart’s desire. The white and gold ones are my personal favorites!
Fourth of July Shoes
Whatever the activity, you want shoes to take you there. These white snakeskin sandals are a great addition to any outfit. They’re a great neutral to add a little interest to your outfit! If you are looking for a more classic sandal, these sparkly tan sandals will be your go-to. For sneaker-heads, these Veja sneakers are the epitome of Fourth of July. The blue and red detailing make these shoes almost look vintage. They are a splurge, but if you’re looking to match, then these are the shoes for you!
