Anyone else scheduled to work Christmas Eve and/or New Years Eve this year? I am one of those unfortunate souls. (Pity party for one, here.) To bring a little festivity to the workplace when I’d rather be celebrating with friends and family, I’ve planned a sparkly little outfit that’s still appropriate for work.
Wearing sparkle and sequins in the daytime has become such a big thing this year, and I fully support this trend. But for wearing sequins in the workplace, my biggest concern was still looking office appropriate.
I made sure to keep the rest of the outfit conservative: a classic pencil skirt, neutral pumps, and a button down tame the sequins but don’t sacrifice the fun factor.
Skirt: J.Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt, Shirt: J. Crew Slim Secret Wash (Men’s, also worn here), Top: J.Crew Polka-Dot Sequin Top, Heels: Steve Madden (similar on the cheap!), Bracelet: eBay

Oh no, you poor thing having to work on Monday! I have Monday off but instead I’m working Saturday 🙁 I’m truly loving this outfit (aside from it mostly being J.Crew), I think you pull of the sequin top beautifully and the colors are light enough that I think it’s still great for work!
