Pretty in Peplum

I love this time of year: Christmas shopping, wrapping presents, Christmas music, my birthday, the ridiculously unpredictable weather that has me bundled up in a pea coat one day and short sleeves the next… well maybe not that last one.

But yes, I’m one of those who enjoys every moment of the holiday season and even gets a little joy out of forcing Christmas music on less-than-enthused friends. But something I’m not loving this season? The all-out attack of my email inbox by retailers.

Maybe it’s just me, but this year my email has been unprecedentedly inundated with sales, coupons, and free shipping codes. Don’t get me wrong, these are all great things, but J.Crew Factory, I do not need to receive the same email every day for a week. “40% off today only!” Yea, I’m not buying it anymore. “35% off today plus free shipping,” says the GAP (every other day).

Maybe I’m just being whiny, but I swear my hand cramps up from hitting the delete button so many times a day. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

(p.s. How perfect is this photobomb by Tug? I love it.)

Thanks, Margaret! Tug is definitely a pit mix of some sort. We adopted him from a shelter, so we’re not exactly sure what he might be mixed with!

First things first: you look gorgeous! The color and fit of that top are just perfect on you. Now – about the inbox attacks, I feel the EXACT same way. I have actually unsubscribed myself from the J.Crew Factory email list a total of 5 times and STILL receive the emails. I woke up this morning to 20 emails on my phone, all about sales/promotions. I love a good deal don’t get me wrong, but the holiday emails are driving me to insanity! -end rant-

Carpal tunnel syndrome, caused by nerve compression in the wrist, is another possibility to consider. The most typical symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome are pain in the wrist and tingling and numbness in the fingers, but hand spasms may also occur. If you experience spasms in other areas of your body, such as the upper arm, neck, or face, this could indicate a more serious neurologic cause, although this is relatively rare.`,.-
