Maxi Dress with a Bralette

Alright, tell me the truth: how many of y’all hate strapless bras?! (I’m over here waving my arms enthusiastically!!) I’ve never found one that is truly comfortable, but thank goodness for the rise of the bralette! This white lace-y is a fav. I picked it up last summer and am so surprised at how much I’ve worn it! It looks adorable under tanks and tees, but one of my favorite ways to wear it for summer is just like this maxi dress bralette outfit!

I received tons of questions about it over the past year, so I figured it was about time that I dish the details! To be completely honest, it is not the most supportive bra I own. But what it lacks in support, it makes up in beautiful lace! It worked for me pre-pregnancy and it still fits now at thirty weeks! The back is stretchy, which makes it perfect for a multitude of sizes. I just probably wouldn’t recommend it for ladies much larger than a D cup! I’m wearing a medium!

And of course I have to shout out to this pretty striped dress! I received it in my last trunk club shipment and have been wearing it non-stop. It’s not maternity but very flowy and forgiving! I’m in a large and still have plenty of space to grow. Bonus: it’s under $50!

That is a cute striped dress! And a bralette seems like a much better alternative to strapless bras, ha! I can’t stand strapless bras!

Thank you for the link up!

Hope that you had a great weekend! Was a quiet one here as we were all a bit unwell unfortunately. Feeling better today though! 🙂

I don’t like strapless bras because they dig and become uncomfortable over time. I like the idea of a bralette and it has that subtle sexiness when a little bit of lace shows through. I love the colors and square neckline of your maxi. Very pretty dress!

I love bralettes and think they are so pretty, but they just don’t provide enough support for me. I wish someone would design a supportive one! Pretty dress!
