Ladylike in Black and White

Fuller skirts are usually not my thing. I almost always prefer a slimmer fitting skirt to an a-line, but there was something about this dress that makes me feel so ladylike. The retro 50’s vibe of the cut is so sweet, but the detailed neckline definitely keeps it modern. 50s style dressSticking with the sweet theme, I paired my dress with bow wedges. I may look the part, but don’t call me June Cleaver. This girl is not skilled at needlepoint or hosting tea parties.

I love A-line dresses- the silhouette is flattering on every body type (this is one thing I’ve learned while being a fashion copywriter 🙂 )

I think this is super flattering for you! I know that I usually go for styles that nip in at the waste a bit to disguise a bit of my tush (hey, whatever works, right?). You’re gorgeous!

I love that dress! You look adorable in it – the detailing at the neck is darling, and I love how you paired it with your bow wedges. You look so cute in your glasses, too!!

I love the look of retro dresses, but I too tend to shy away from them. I’m heavier on the bottom and I feel like the flair of the skirt kind of adds to that. But I seriously do love the look! This dress is super flattering on you!

I usually love a-line skirts as well but I seem to be warming up to the idea of a fuller skirt! They seem to be popping up everywhere this season and they’re super flattering and feminine! You look absolutely gorgeous in this dress, I love how it has a certain vintage flare to it!

You can’t go wrong with classic black and white! It’s such a fun dress on you! I’m curious…did you ask for eShakti to make it a shorter length, or was this the way it came? I just got a dress from them: asked for it to be right above knee length, and it arrived at calf-length. Bummer. 🙁

That dress is so cute!! I love full skirts. They hide my JLo booty and ample thighs. I always feel really girly and cute in full skirts!! And I love the bow wedges with the dress. Black and white is totally my go to look. You look adorable!!
