During the summer, I tend to struggle with my hair. It’s always too hot or too humid. And I want my hair to look nice but also be out of my face. On top of that, I do not have the patience nor the skills for super complicated hairstyles. And that is where these claw clip hairstyles come in to save the day!
Claw clips are both trendy and super-easy to use. So, here are some easy hairstyles that are perfect for summer or year-round! If you want to see how to do all of these claw clip hairstyles, scroll down to the bottom for a how-to video!
Claw Clip Half-Up Half-Down
This one is a great revamp of a go-to hairstyle. The claw clip adds flair while keeping your hair out of your face. You can add some face-framing pieces for dimension, or just leave it all back. This is definitely one of the easiest hairstyles, making it perfect for on the go. Separate the hair right above the ear and simply clip together the top portion with your claw clip. So easy!
Claw Clip French Twist
This hairstyle immediately makes me feel super-classy, but it’s also slightly more undone than your traditional french twist. It is perfect for the office, relaxing, or just making your casual outfit a little more chic. I love how it keeps my hair off my neck and only takes a minute to do.
Gather your hair at the nape of your neck as if you were going to create a low ponytail. Then just start twisting your hair in one direction. Fold it back over or tuck the ends under your twist and clip!
Claw Clip Bun
Rather than use a hair tie for your bun, why not try a claw clip? It takes the same amount of time and elevates this hairstyle to be a little more trendy. This is another perfect hairstyle for those moments where you don’t want your hair on your neck.
Just like the french twist, you’ll start by gathering your hair for a low pony. Then twist, but this time, coil your twist into a bun! Clip underneath for a trendy, laid-back bun.
Claw Clip Half Up Half Down Twist
Unlike a normal half up half down, this adds a french twist-inspired look. This is great when you want your hair down, but want to elevate a traditional half-up style. Start with the half-up style, then twist the hair vertically. Fold it back over and let the ends hang loose.
